Founder & Clinical Director, Therapist, LMHC-D.

The Colorful Couch was built around a simple belief: therapy is more than just talking.

There is a science behind how we understand emotions, behaviors, relationships, patterns, and change. But there is also a person behind every experience. Our cultures, identities, families, backgrounds, and lived experiences shape how we understand ourselves and the world around us. I wanted The Colorful Couch to be a practice where both of those realities matter.

Diversity, curiosity, and individuality are central to the vision of our practice. Mental health care should never feel like a one-size-fits-all process.

I also believe the future of mental health care extends beyond the traditional therapy session. My vision for The Colorful Couch is to continue exploring how technology, thoughtful use of data, and new clinical tools can enhance the experience of care—helping people better understand themselves while giving clinicians better ways to support meaningful change.

Technology should never replace the human connection at the center of therapy. It should strengthen what we are already capable of doing.

As The Colorful Couch grows, my goal is for us to remain grounded in science, diversity, compassion, and innovation while continuing to explore what mental health care can become.
